§ RULE 2-301 FORM OF ACTION

RULE 2-301. FORM OF ACTION

There shall be one form of action known as “civil action.”

Committee note: The effect of this Rule is to eliminate distinctions between law and equity for purposes of pleadings, parties, court sittings, and dockets. It does not affect the right to jury trial.

Source: This Rule is new and is derived from the 1937 version of Fed. R. Civ. P. 2.
