Bylaw 2-5.2. Rules of procedure

    Only members of The Florida Bar in good standing shall be entitled to vote at the annual meeting. A resolution for consideration at the annual meeting may be proposed by any member in good standing or by the resolutions committee, provided that the resolution shall be presented, handled in accordance with procedures that shall be established by the board of governors, and published in The Florida Bar Journal or The Florida Bar News a reasonable length of time prior to each annual meeting. Unless indicated on the official program, no person shall speak for more than 10 minutes or more than twice on any matter, except upon consent of a majority of the members in good standing present and voting at the meeting. Members of the bar of any foreign country or any state, district, or territory, who are not members of The Florida Bar, may be accorded the privilege of the floor at any annual meeting.
