If Sections 25-2, 25-3 or 25-4 are not complied with, the judicial authority, whenever its attention is called to the matter, shall order that the complaint or the application, as the case may be, be amended upon such terms and conditions as it may direct. Where an amendment is filed concerning support or maintenance contributed by the state of Connecticut, no further action shall be taken by the judicial authority until such amendment shall be served upon the attorney general and opportunity given him or her to be heard upon the matter. Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect the automatic orders in Section 25-5 above.
